ABOUT TRACEY

Tracey Litfin Profile Picture.jpg

Tracey Litfin, (born 07 July 1981) is a down-to-earth country girl, who has always had the passion to achieve her personal best at everything she has ever done.

Although things have been tough for her, since her accident, she has never said that she ‘couldn’t’ achieve things, it has just been the ‘way’ she has achieved things that might have changed.

Although falling from a horse is the cause of her current condition, Tracey still loves her horses and horseriding.

Tracey holds a Certificate III and IV in Agricultural Production. Also a Diploma of Applied Science (Agricultural Production). All with First Class Honours.

Tracey married Michael eight months before the accident. The accident changed both of their lives. They spent their first wedding anniversary with Tracey being in hospital.

In the early days, it was thanks to Michael’s (and family and friend’s) love and support, that Tracey believes she was able to ‘pull’ through it.

Tracey and Michael have a son and daughter, who were both born since Tracey’s accident. Tracey believes the kids are ‘a gift from God’ in how they have never ‘really’ made things difficult for her, despite being normal ‘kids’. She thinks she is blessed in how they help her most of the time.

She still works in her family business (albeit, in a different capacity), which owns and operates a custom fed feedlot,  with cultivation and pastoral ground to support this venture.

From every wound, there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, I have survived!
